What To Expect

Your treatment begins with a personalized consultation to create a customized treatment plan based on your goals.

Sculptra is injected into targeted areas using a fine needle or cannula. Most appointments take 45–60 minutes.

Unlike traditional fillers, results develop gradually as your body produces new collagen. Most patients require a series of 2–3 treatment sessions spaced several weeks apart for optimal results, with improvements becoming more noticeable over the following months.

Pre & Post Aftercare Instructions

Before Your Appointment

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.
Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and other blood-thinning supplements when medically appropriate for 5–7 days beforehand.
Arrive with clean skin free of makeup.
Stay well hydrated.
Inform your provider of any recent dental work, facial infections, or previous injectable treatments.

Aftercare

Mild swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising is common and typically resolves within a few days.
Follow the 5-5-5 Rule: Massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days (or as directed by your provider).
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid excessive heat (hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms) for 24–48 hours.
Stay hydrated to support collagen production.
Continue using daily sunscreen to protect your skin and preserve your results.
Contact our office if you experience severe pain, unusual swelling, or signs of infection.
